Cleaning and Sanitising

At Birth Bestie labour TENS hire, your health and wellbeing are important to us. We have strict infection control procedures for looking after our TENS machines and associated materials.

 

If you've been on our instagram you'll often see me cleaning returned machines and packing up new orders.

 

Here is a run down of our cleaning procedures for our TENS machines:

 

1. All TENS machines are quarantined for at-least 10 days between bookings

2. All TENS machines are sanitised with hospital grade disinfectant and any disposable parts that have been returned are disposed of.

3. All electrode pads you receive are brand new and are in sealed sterilised packs. We send you a pair and a spare just in case. The electrode pads can be used multiple times by you during labour - any open packs that are returned will be disposed of.

4. All carry pouches and instruction leaflets are sanitised with hospital grade disinfectant

5. All lanyards are washed and replaced.
